About Bella’s Blue Kitchen

Bella's Blue Kitchen was created to help inspire others to cook and create in their very own kitchens. Cooking for me is something that I love and enjoy doing, and this way I get to share it with you!

Bella
Bella is in fact not my name. My name is Brooke. I grew up in a family where everyone was very close and where eating together was a staple. From the day I was born till the day I finally went to high school I spent almost everyday at my Nonna and Nonno's house. Even after starting higschool I still visited them quite often. They always called me Bella and taught me how to cook. There was always mass amounts of food in their house and they loved to feed anyone who walked in the door. Bella means beautiful, and I didn't just name this blog after a nickname my grandparents gave me but rather I put Bella in the title of the blog because I truely think cooking and bringing people together with food is a beautiful thing.

Blue
Blue is my favourite colour. The colour blue, though in some people's eyes may be a sad colour, for me it is a happy colour. When I see blue I think of water, whether that be the ocean or a lake or a river or even snow and ice. The idea of water, in any shape or form, usually brings me memories of being outdoors and enjoying the view and being able to think. The colour blue is a bit of serenity for me.

Kitchen
The kitchen is my happy place. I always find at get togethers, everyone ends up in the kitchen. In my mind the kitchen is the heart of the home.
